SCHOLASTIC OBJECTIVES
The scholastic objectives of Tupelo Christian Preparatory School (TCPS) are founded on the Word of God and reflect the School’s Mission and Doctrinal Statement.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: TCPS, through its philosophy, curriculum and teaching, shall make every effort to instill the virtues of honesty, integrity, ambition, stewardship, forgiveness, compassion, and industry in each student.
INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT: Intellect in any capacity is a gift from God that deserves development to maximize our human potential and to glorify God. Learning should be presented in the classroom in such a way that it is adventuresome and fun, instilling in the child a desire for acquiring knowledge both in and out of the classroom.
IMPACT ON SOCIETY: Children should be taught both the skills and responsibility of Christian leadership so they may have a positive influence in the world in which they live. TCPS will seek to teach the social and communication skills necessary to confront the world and make dynamic impact without offending. The school will teach courage, confidence, conviction, and obligation.
