Ambassadors consist of one representative for each classroom. The Headmaster selects ambassadors for a one-year term that is renewable. The ambassador acts as a communication link with TCPS parents and prospective parents. He or she is someone who will let you know of upcoming events at the school. He will be available to collect prayer requests from parents and students to pass along to our PTF prayer ministry and to be a new friend to get to know from the school. Ambassadors will strive to make everyone at the school to feel more like “family”. Most of, but not all of, the duties of the ambassadors are listed below:

Periodic meetings with the Ambassador coordinator, Headmaster and other ambassadors
Plan and invite families to a “back to school” party
Minister to families experiencing a death in the family, new babies, etc.
Contact prospective families for their grade and invite them to the Open House
Be available at TCPS Open House to greet interested families
Assist with planning and carrying out Grandparent’s Day

Ambassadors are avenues of information for the families in your class. The ambassador coordinator will meet on a regular basis with the Headmaster and will report pertinent information to you. Ambassadors will be informed of changes in policies and programs under consideration by the Board and the Administration. This will enable the ambassadors to accurately inform other TCPS parents and wisely advise the administration.

Ambassadors are men and women of spiritual integrity, recognized leaders in the community, willing to work in behalf of the school, and committed to regular prayer for the school.
Ambassadors are not room mothers and are not responsible for planning class parties.
